Dahae is a New York based photographer with a love for film (Pratt Institute/Fine Art Photography) and an equal love for studio and just the same love for work in post.  Anything photography, she's all in.

Dahae started off her career in the world of luxury product photography. With a decade under her belt, she proceeded to help startups build their own e-commerce studios, consulting from workflow to establishing outputs, retouching standards, and all that good optimization needed for a photo studio to work at its best.

With the pandemic stretching out, Dahae ventured into a passion turned career, studying pastry at the renowned ICE Culinary school and even building her own business (@SilkandFlour on Instagram!) Surprisingly, the analytical mindset for building out studios is quite similar to building out recipes!

Stretch to 2024, Dahae found herself as a first time Mom with a camera back in hand, finding so much joy in photographing her son’s most precious moments. That desire propelled her into this world she lives in today- to provide young families of all shapes and sizes to have their quiet, chaotic, simple moments captured and cemented in time. Parenthood is so fast (and slow, am I right?), but photographs keep those beautiful stories close to the heart.

Her favorite things include her little son and the best supportive husband, storytelling, bacon, Kodak Tri-X film, and all things beautiful.
